At Cargo, we take security very seriously. We understand the importance of keeping your data safe, and we strive to maintain the highest standards of security throughout our platform.



1. Customer’s data


We do not store any of our customers' data in our own database because we believe that your data should remain under your control. Instead, we securely and safely retrieve the information we need from our customers' data warehouse to operate our application. This means that we never have access to more data than what is strictly necessary to provide our service.



2. Cargo database


We only store data related to your account on our app database. We regularly back up our database to ensure that your data is safe, and we use secure cloud-based hosting to provide an additional layer of protection.



3. Minimal Permissions


We only ask for the minimal permissions we need to operate our application. This means that we only access the data we need to provide our service and nothing more. We believe in being transparent about the data we access, and we're happy to answer any questions you may have about the information we collect and why we collect it.



4. SOC 2 Certification


We are currently working on obtaining SOC 2 certification, which is a widely recognized standard for evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of a company's controls around information security, availability, and confidentiality. This certification will provide you with additional assurance that we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of security.
